Delivery day 1

The race crew is now safely back in South Africa, and the new crew arrived on St Helena shortly before we did. Everyone enjoyed their stay on the island, the Saints are so friendly, and really just lovely people. Our respective hosts were great people and very accommodating it was difficult to leave. I can assure you not one of us will forget this visit.

On the 22nd, the new crew moved onto the boat, expecting to leave that afternoon. We have managed to do all the leaving preparations, but unfortunately the raw water pump has taken a lot longer to be repaired than we anticipated, but we will definitely be leaving later today.

We’re all champing to go, looking forward to the journey and to filling our hearts with many more stories on the way, which we will do our best to share with our fantastic readers. (Shout out to all of you!)
