How first got involved in sailing and what attracts me to the sport.
I started with sailing scouts Saldahna dinghies and I enjoy the adventure and adrenaline rush of pounding through the waves and the activities on deck.
What my challenges were prior to Cape2Rio and how has this voyage changed my perception of sailing thus far
Sailed the 2012 Governor’s Cup to St Helena
How do you see the group dynamic on the yacht and where do you fit in in all of this. What is your role on the yacht?
We all get on well together with no peronality clashes, enjoy cooking and getting to know everyone
What are you looking forward to in Rio and what have you heard about the people of Brazil?
Would like to take a picture of myself next to the Corcobado statue of Christ the Redeemer, visit Copocabana beach and hear that the Brazilians are outgoing and friendly people.
What my plans are after the Cape 2 Rio experience?
Finish matric and start a career in sailing in some way or another.
